Title: Flight test feedback anyone? Post by: tasev1 on January 20, 2008, 08:08:49 AM I am a short time away from my flight test (Brampton Flying Club, Canada). Does anyone have any realistic input to the exam? Do I think it will be more challenging than it really is? I know my stuff, but I don't feel ready, and I suppose I never will unless I log 150 hours.
Title: Re: Flight test feedback anyone? Post by: comanche82 on January 31, 2008, 03:18:20 PM I do not think anyone ever feels ready. I remember the day I took my private pilot check ride. I didn't think I was ready at all. I was so dam nervous that the examiner told me to relax. My oral took about an hour, I did better then I expected. During my check ride, the examiner told me repeatedly to shut up because I kept on talking because I was so dam nervous. After I finished everything in the PTS, I was told to go back to the airport. I thought I failed. As soon as I tied the airplane down the examiner told me that I passed. That was the best day of my life!

Just remember, you are going to make mistakes. Make sure you correct them and you won't have any problems. you want to show the examiner that you are a safe pilot.

And all the examiners know about it, So nobody will expect perfection from you. As long as you know your stuff and can fly your plane safely without making any big blunders you will make it.
