How long did it take you before you were confterble flying under the hood? I don’t know why but I can’t do anything but look at my six pack while I’m flying under the hood. I can’t even look at the radios or ill start turning or descending. I have about 3 hours of simulated instrument time.

it will take some time:
You want to focus on your attitude indicator at first. Try and use that and listen to the plane. Make sure you get the plane trimmed so it is working for you. you don't want to be working against the plane under the hood.
I do at least 10 hours of just basic stuff with all my instrument students before I start throwing a lot of stuff at them

In my humble opinion...a pilot should never get "comfortable" under the hood, or while flying IFR. The whole focus should be on being hyper vigilant and paying attention to all details. This is serious business...and if we mess it up...we will probably turn into a popsicle stick in the ground. To answer your question, if your airplane is trimmed right, it should fly without turning. Have you spent a lot of time on the ground in a SIM? Have you tried to use the auto-pilot? Let the computer fly the airplane and you then manage the computer (with your instructor's permission).
