Hello everyone!
I have recently started my flight training and it is going well. I have logged about 12 hours of flight time in a period of roughly 3 month.
My question is:
what are some of the things i can do to overcome motion sickness, i am very determined and it's not too bad but i really wanna get past it.

any little tricks\tips that can help me?

thanks !

I just finished reading the aeromedical factors chapter in my PHAK. Its strongly suggests not making your movements to sudden or "jerky" and when I say your movements I mean what you do in the cockpit. If you turn your head, turn it slowly and smoothly. Just simple things like that could make the difference.

I hope this works!!

You  may be fixating on the panel when doing maneuvers, trying to be sure to keep up airspeed/altitude.  Motion sickness can get worse if you can't see how you're actually moving relative to the ground.  Try fixing on the horizon out the windshield to orient yourself.  You should be able to tell by that generally if you're altitude is steady, at least.

There is a product called relief band that really helps. It's been discontinued, but if you search online you might get lucky and still find one. We've seen it work wonders.

One technique that has worked for me is to make the flights shorter but more often for a period of time.  Usually the more often you fly the less you will be overcome by the motion sickness.
